I was hoping nobody would notice, but I did in fact have to PhotoShop the very last picture in the series. There was a cloud in the upper right corner that looked like a hooter.

If you’re suggesting that some of this epic has been doctored, you’re underestimating the capacities of the Zamboni machine and the Brownie box camera.

Seeing Ben and his Zamboni kind of makes me yearn for the old days, before the dawn – and subsequent scourge – of PhotoShop. I guess you could say all of the old thinking about circumnavigation has been put on ice.

Ben used to Zamboni at the Spectrum for the Flyers, until he developed PTSD and set out on this voyage to achieve comparative peace and quiet. He hasn’t been disappointed.

What a glorious saga! And here’s another thing… last night, for our 15th anniversary, Tim gave me HOCKEY tickets, where surely we’ll be able to see Ben Barnes and his Zamboni! Coincidence? I think not!

This is very exciting, like the heroic voyages of Magellan, Columbus, and John Cabot and the flight of the Valkyries. No, scratch that last one.

But given the dangers and unexpected emergencies, don’t you think the Zamboni should be towing a golf cart as a dinghy?
