		<description>Ah, yes.  Karl Rove's "permanent majority" is circling the drain, and John Boehmer was on ABC this past Sunday using the cow fart defense against carbon dioxide being involved in global warming.  Sounds like he's getting pretty close to the bottom of the barrel.</description>

		<description>All of what you say is pretty much true, except that the people who need to hear it are precisely the ones who are genetically programmed not to believe it.  I mean, what kind of life could you possibly have if, in a flash, you realized that listening to Fox was pointless?  Sadly, people who tend to cleave to dearly help opinions can never be swayed by fact ... not that facts actually have any place in the American political lexicon.  "Socialists bad!  Republicans good!  Socialists bad!  Republicans good!"  Such is the power of the mantra.  And look what happened at the end of Animal Farm: "They looked from pig to man and man to pig, and no one could tell the difference."</description>
