Zen Bookism

A few days ago I posted some resolutions for 2009, one of which was to buy no books until I read the ones I have.

Then, today, I see an irresistible pitch to buy a new book. Leo Babauta, a productivity guru who writes a blog called Zen Habits, has now come out with a companion book called The Power of Less – the fine art of limiting yourself to the essential.

And if you buy it in the next two days, he promises to supply you with some “other goodies.” Hmm. Because less is less?

I will embrace my resolution, and the author’s thesis, by immediately not buying his book.

Ommmmmmmmmm
