One More Hurrah

Ash heap, indeed. Though just when one is willing to rejoice, one is forced to remember the Phoenix, and it’s irksome tendency to rise from the ashes. As neat a pile as the current ash hear may be, it is wise to remember that there are always people (and I use the term only in its biological sense) who, like the neocons, are unwilling to eschew their greed and ideology. Eternal vigilance is the price of ash heaps.
