Handicapping the Bailout Plan
Back in 1990, the Federal Government seized the Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada for tax evasion and, as required by law, tried to run it.
They failed, and it closed.
Today, the fate of the economy rests in the hands of the same pack of nitwits who couldn’t make money running a whorehouse and selling booze?

One would think The Bush I administration would have succeeded brilliantly, as it had both Rummy and Cheney on staff, two experts in screwing the nation.

Right. Except that they haven’t mastered the basic concept of prostitution. In their model, you get screwed, and they get paid.

It’s scary to think that the federal government can’t even manage to turn a profit in a whore house, a notion made all the more inconceivable when you consider who’s running the federal government,
