Cindy McCain,
looked with disdain
at the VP choice
of her husband,
McCain,
For seeing a woman
in such fashion distress
Cindy decided
she’d teach Sarah
to dress,
So off to Saks and Neimans
they went
And when they were finished
$150M they’d spent.
Cindy then ordered
“Bring in best”
to apply with such skill
make up and lip gloss
and botox to fill
those tiny age lines
that on Sarah’s face
to Cindy were nothing
short of disgrace.
Now Sarah’s new look
is all spiffy and polished,
Why, her Wal-mart look
has now been abolished
And what did it all cost?
oh don’t ask my dear friend,
because it’s a lot more
than you’ll ever spend
on a car or a house
a college education
Or even a month long Disney vacation.
Now this rhyme may be viewed
as an unwarranted dig,
but it just goes to show
how you can package a ___.

Glad to see you herded that pig back into the sty. Reminds me of an article in The Nation a couple of issues back (a woman author whose name I can’t summon). She said Sarah Palin was exactly the sex symbol the right-wingers had longed for — better looking and more real than “those ghastly gasbags Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham.”
