I do know that he cand and does get huge amounts of money for every monumental project in the state that they promise to name after him. Having spent some time in West Virginia and Kentucky, I think of them as the two most bigoted states in the country (replacing Mississippi and Louisiana, which now have black majorities). And now (in November) we're about to find out how much racism remains in the population at large. If we fail that test, the pjnishment (four more years of Bush type policies) will be severe.
